Young People

For young people, therapy is adapted to their developmental stage, individual needs, and the challenges they are experiencing. Using a range of evidence-informed approaches, therapy may support young people with emotional regulation, coping skills, identity, relationships, stress, anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma, and adjustment to life experiences. The focus is on creating a safe and collaborative space where young people can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop insight, and build skills that support their wellbeing.

Children

For children, therapy often involves child-led play therapy, providing a safe and supportive space to explore feelings, experiences, and challenges in a way that feels natural and developmentally appropriate.

Support is tailored to each child’s individual needs and may focus on emotional regulation, coping skills, attachment, relationships, safety, protective behaviours, and adjustment to life experiences. Children are supported to develop an understanding of their feelings, personal safety, problem-solving skills, and ways to seek help when they need it.
